![]() My desire is to once again have a lightweight, relatively inexpensive e-reader with long battery life so I have something to read while backpacking/camping and traveling. *Please don't tell me "just upgrade your OS!" because that's simply not an option for me right now. ![]() Does anyone know of a simple way to do this using Snow Leopard,* either with Calibre or a different app?Īlternately, if this won't work with Kindle does anyone know if it would with another product like a Nook or Kobo? ![]() Unfortunately, it appears the last version of Calibre that will work on Snow Leopard won't even recognize my new device.Īll I want is to be able to load my old stuff on my new Kindle. Now, I never had any reason to register my old Kindle and just used Calibre to upload public domain books and my own documents. My old Kindle (I think it was a Kindle 2 or 3) finally just froze up and died, so I went out and bought a new one (it's the basic $79 version).
